Our Funded Projects

The Exchange Club is a national civic organization composed of people throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The Exchange Club of Oklahoma City has served our community since 1943.

Parent Promise: Established by Exchange Club OKC in 1986. A full-time director oversees the activities of child abuse prevention by helping families with the tools to be good parents. Parents are provided with needed items and assistance in enhancing their lives through knowledge and resources.

Youth of the Month/Year: Senior students from local high schools are recognized for excelling in ten areas of achievement. Students are honored at monthly luncheons. One student receives a scholarship at the end of the school year.

A.C.E. Award:  The Exchange Club recognizes students from local high schools who have overcome physical, emotional, or social obstacles. One student receives a scholarship at the end of the school year.

One Nation Under God:  In November, through events and publicity, the community is encouraged to recognize this important phrase in the “Pledge of Allegiance”.

Give a Kid a Flag to Wave:  Exchange Club members hand out American Flags to spectators before the Bethany 4th of July parades begins. Over a thousand flags are handed out at the parade.

Vision Award: Each year, the Exchange Club of OKC recognizes a national business in Oklahoma that started and is continuing its business with headquarters in Oklahoma.
